Jo Byrne, Chair of FOLSS will be stepping down this year after three years as Chair and two as Vice Chair. This role requires a massive level of voluntary commitment, time and energy, good organisational and people management skills and will leave a big void in the Committee. Therefore, FOLSS more than ever needs the parent community to step up and get involved. New Committee Members are needed and Honorary Members (Chair/Co-Chairs, Secretary & Treasurer) will need to be proposed and voted in by majority. If you feel you can commit to helping run our PTFA, or you wish to attend as a member please let Jo know before the 13th November. All parents/guardians welcome – you have voting rights as members. All Committee Members are subject to a full DSB check.

The purpose of our AGM is to give members a report on FOLSS activities and finances for the previous year, to allow time for members to ask questions, and to elect committee members for the coming year.

It is also an opportunity for us to celebrate our successes, acknowledge the contribution of volunteers and inform and engage our members. This meeting will include confirming the minutes of the previous AGM, presenting the annual report and financial statement and opportunity for questions.
