Well what a busy holiday season it’s been! Let’s thinks back to where it all kicked off at the end of November with our Christmas Fair, which was a fabulous success. Thank you to all who supported us and came along, it meant we raised an amazing £1,100! We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped out either setting up during the day, manning a stall during the fair or cooking the food. Your support is greatly appreciated as these events really wouldn’t be possible without you. The children and teachers worked very hard making their own items to sell on the evening as part of their enterprise projects with any money made going towards their class funds – well done everyone. Hopefully you all got a peek at Santa’s grotto – which was an indoor winter wonderland to rival the North Pole! A special thanks to Tess Wheeler for organising the grotto and of course to Father Christmas for taking the time to see all the children. The tombola’s and wine or water stalls did a roaring trade, thanks to all the kind donations sent in with the children and once again the emoji cushion prizes were hugely popular! Thankfully we have all survived the hectic Christmas and New Year madness and are now getting back into the swing of the normal routine – how many weeks is it until we do it all over again?!
