“The show was fantastic. The team was incredibly efficient and friendly. I cannot fault Happy’s Circus in any way from start to finish. Was extremely pleased with the event all went very smoothly.”
“This year’s show was the best. Although the weather was terrible this did not spoil the show at all. The staff were very accommodating. The parents loved the show lots of hidden adult humour.”
“We made £2900 profit from the evening. To make such a lot of money on one evening is fabulous – but to also send 600 people away happy is something very special.”
“Comments from the parents said it all. “Best event our PTA have ever put on at the school”
“We thoroughly enjoyed the circus and have had great feedback from everyone who attended. The staff on the day were very friendly and efficient, knowing exactly what to. We would high recommend.”
Background of the Show:
In 1992 Russ was approached by his children’s school PTA who were looking for a different way to raise funds for the school. Russ put together an entertaining Circus Show. The event was such a success, he realised that if he could do this for one school, he could do it for others. He was inspired to develop a winning formula for a show to raise substantial funds for schools and charities. Over the many years of touring, Happy’s Circus has evolved into the popular first rate show it is today with loyal clients and a huge social media following.
Happy’s Circus is now enjoying its third decade of touring. Russ and his growing team have performed to audiences of hundreds of thousands and in so doing have raised millions of pounds for PTAs and charities across the UK. They have also provided shows for high profile events including TV & radio.
Russ says: “We were the first circus to tour schools and our mission statement is to:
• Assist schools to raise much needed funds in a stress free, interactive and effective way
• Provide an educational happy experience for children
• Make schools the centre of both learning and entertainment within their community
• Introduce new audiences to the tradition of Circus and the Performing Arts
• Use Circus as a medium to entertain communities with little access to the Performing Arts
• Above all to make everyone’s day a HAPPY one! “
During the summer holidays, Happy’s Circus performs at numerous events. At Christmas the Randelles are involved in staging/performing shows, circuses and pantomimes across the UK including their original production Santa’s Circus which is a series of stories about the adventures of Father Christmas.
