On behalf of the whole school, we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along to the outdoors working party on Saturday 13th November.

As I am sure many of you have noticed, the school grounds are looking remarkably tidier. The group of parents and kids spent the day weeding, cutting grass, tidying and digging. We now have some vegetable beds ready for planting in the spring, as well as a giant polytunnel under construction.

Thank you so much to everyone who gave up their weekends to help: we had parents and kids from the following families: the Percival’s, the Sloss’s, the Jones’s, the Waldron’s, the Bailey’s, the Lowe’s, the Toseland’s, the Clusas’s, the Calladine’s, the Payne’s and our very own Mrs Tabb and Mrs Paget.

We must also mention Jay Bee Plants Sales who kindly donated a digger for the day, and Wavelength Recruitment (Rachel Shipton) who provided a lovely chip butty lunch, delivered and partly sponsored by the wonderful Nippy Chippy!

Our school could not run without the help and support of our families, so we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. FOLSS will be organising another working party in Spring, watch this space for more info!
